GREAT NEWS!!!!!

We just received some very exciting news yesterday: My sister Erin is expecting again!!! A new baby on the way, due sometime in April. We are so overwhelmed with joy, and honestly the news made us ache for our own. Both Andy and I have our moments of "why wait, let's just go for it", but then we remember the course we are on now and why, and know it would be better in our minds to wait. But one thing is for sure... Lord willing-next summer, HERE WE COME!

Sunday Afternoon

I'm sitting on my sofa on a Sunday afternoon with my TV on a Football game (Denver vs. Oakland), and the sound on mute. My husband is in the next room working hard for the both of us on his National Boards, so I thought I should get to work on updating you all on our lives since it's been a while. Not a whole lot is new. School is still going well for the both of us, still enjoying being teachers. Still loving out apartment, although we catch ourselves often talking about our plans for next summer and our desire to buy a house in the near future. We know we are wasting money staying in our apartment, when we could be investing in a house and all. We hope to find one close to Manzano so we can still make it with one car.
I just started a women's bible study with the women in my church and it looks like it's going to be good. We will be going through a book called "Feminine Appeal: Seven Virtues of a Godly Wife and Mother". Ever since Andy and I got married I've wanted to find someone or some people I could learn from and talk to about this kind of thing, so I can't wait to grow more in the areas the book will be covering. Well, like I said before we will try and update more regularly.
