Saturday morning

Leslie made me this nice little breakfast to eat by the fire. It's a little healthier than how I've been eating for the past two days.

National Boards

I passed! I'm a National Board Certifiable...er-Certified teacher.

Starry Hosts

Here's a picture of the ceiling of our office. Those stars were on there when we moved in, and we've just left them up there. It's very precious. It's a good reminder for me as I've just received an email from the National Board letting me know that my scores will be posted tomorrow morning. After six months of waiting, I'll finally know whether or not that year's worth of work paid off, or whether I'll have to try again. But He who laid out the starry host one by one and called them each by name will not change between now and tomorrow morning, and our hope is in Him.

Texas Hold 'em

Recently I've been introduced to a game whose inner workings had previously eluded me. The boyz taught me how to play and I turned around a taught Leslie. Here I am with my skittle winnings and the one dollar pot which had to immediately be spent in target, in whose Starbucks we were playing.

We got to talk with our dear friend Ellie in England this morning. Lovely!

Last Tuesday was Paul's birthday, and his wife made him a lovely mexican flag cake.

Santa Fe

Here we on the balcony of the Ore House on the plaza at Santa Fe stopping in for a little dessert. We're having a great time. We're having a lot of fun looking at paintings. Leslie is very inspired and inspiring. The plaza is under serious construction and all the trees look like they've been burned. Anybody know what happened?

Talent Show

Me and the misses performed at the faculty talent show tonight. I sang and played the guitar and Lesie played the recorder. Hopefully we raised a lot of money for the scholarship fund. The superintendant was there! Good times...good times.

This was an amazing birthday meal Les made for her mom. Brussell sprouts and currant salad, pork with a dry rub, and pear pie with strussel and carmel sauce. Boom shaka laka!
